Returns & Exchanges Policy — East Coast Tags

We’re truly grateful you chose East Coast Tags. Every order supports a small, independent brand built around authenticity, conversation, and community — and we want you to feel good about what you receive.

If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it right. Please read the guidelines below before requesting a return or exchange.

 


Returns

We want you to love what you wear. If you’re not fully happy with your order, eligible items can be returned for a refund (minus original shipping costs).

Return guidelines:

You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order before sending anything back.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition.

We reserve the right to refuse returns showing signs of wear, damage, or misuse.

Only items purchased directly from EastCoastTags.com are eligible for return.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

When shipping your return, please include:

  • Order number
  • Name and contact information
  • Whether the request is a return or exchange

This helps us process your request quickly.


Exchanges

Need a different size or item? We’re happy to help when inventory allows.

Exchange requests follow the same guidelines as returns (30 days, unworn items, tags attached). Contact us first so we can confirm availability before you ship anything back. The returned item must be received prior to the new item being shipped out. 



Sale Items

All sale, clearance, or special event purchases are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

From time to time we run flash sales or promotions as a thank-you to our community. Because of this, we’re unable to offer price adjustments or price matching on previous purchases.



Damaged Shipment

We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages. It is up to you to track your package and ensure you are there to receive it. USPS and UPS updates orders once they arrive at their processing center from our warehouse so please check with them for updates once we’ve shipped it using the tracking number you receive via email.

 


Shipments outside of the US

If you’re ordering outside the United States, you are responsible for ensuring the product can legally be imported into your country.

International orders may be subject to:

  • import taxes
  • customs duties
  • additional fees required by your country

These charges are determined by your local customs office and are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs processing may also cause delivery delays, which are outside of our control.

 


All return/exchange requests must be made within 14 days of purchase (this includes defects and mis-packed products). We will not process any returns outside of this time. All items must have their original tags attached and be unworn and unwashed.
